Qatar Airways celebrated the return of nonstop flights between Doha and Sofia, which will began on December 16, 2021. This resumption gives Bulgarians and international travellers more options and seamless connectivity to explore the world via the award-winning airline’s home and hub, Hamad International Airport (HIA).
The nonstop service is offered by Qatar Airways’ new Airbus A320, which has 12 seats in Business Class and 120 seats in Economy Class, each with a 79-inch long, 21-inch broad 180° lie-flat bed. All passengers enjoy the well-known Oryx One on-demand in-flight entertainment system, as well as an unrivalled onboard culinary experience that integrates locally sourced, fresh, and healthful ingredients.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr Akbar Al Baker, said: “The resumption of Qatar Airways’ non-stop flights between Doha and Sofia is a testament to both strong demand and our deep commitment to Bulgaria, as we continue to celebrate the airline’s 10-year anniversary of proudly serving the country.
