Viking Wins Six Awards, Including U.S. News & World Report’s Best Luxury Line 

Viking was recently honoured by both U.S. News & World Report and the travel industry group Silver Travel Advisor. In the 2024 Best Cruise Lines ranking, Viking was named Best Luxury Line, Best Line for Couples, and Best Line in the Mediterranean.

The travel rankings published by U.S. News & World Report are based on an analysis of expert opinions and traveller reviews, as well as recommendations and insider knowledge from the publication’s in-destination writers and editors.

In addition, Viking’s enrichment channel, Viking.TV was recognised for its unique content in this year’s Silver Travel Awards, getting the Silver Standout for Innovation—the channel’s third straight award since its introduction in 2020. Viking was also named Best Premium or Luxury Cruise Line by Silver Travel Advisor in the categories of Rivers and Oceans.

These accolades are the most recent in a long line of awards for the company. Viking made history last month when it was named #1 for rivers, oceans, and expeditions in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2023 Readers’ Choice Awards.

Travel + Leisure voted the company to the top of its categories for rivers, oceans, and expeditions in the 2023 World’s Best Awards. No other travel company has ever received the same honours from both publications simultaneously.

In addition, Viking was named the Best Luxury River Cruise in Forbes’ 2023 Best Luxury Cruises list, Best Cruise Line by Food & Wine readers in the publication’s inaugural Global Tastemakers Awards, Best River Cruise line by Women’s Health in its inaugural Healthy Travel Awards, and Best for Relaxation—Worldwide by Men’s Health in its 2023 Travel Awards.

Viking earned top honours in six categories in Cruise Critic’s 2023 Cruisers’ Choice Awards, including Best Overall Line, Best River Line, and Best Dining for its ocean and expedition voyages.
