Oceania Cruises, the world’s leading gourmet and destination-focused cruise line, has welcomed its newest ship, Vista. Oceania Cruises’ first Allura Class ship, delivered at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Genoa, Italy, boasts multiple firsts in dining, accommodations, and passenger experience.
This 67,000-ton, 791-foot-long ship is one of the most anticipated additions to the global cruise fleet in 2023. The Vista features the most spacious standard staterooms at sea, three brand-new dining concepts, and a market-leading service ratio of two crew members for every three guests. She is eagerly anticipated by loyal customers and new guests, with just a few selected staterooms available for her first summer season in the Mediterranean.
Vista builds on Oceania Cruises’ exemplary reputation for destination-rich itineraries with world-class service and The Finest Cuisine at Sea® by offering 11 culinary venues, three of which are new concepts – Ember, a signature restaurant featuring elevated American cuisine; Aquamar Kitchen, which elevates wellness offerings; and The Bakery at Baristas, an expansion of popular coffee bar Baristas, serving freshly baked French and Italian pastries.
Vista’s new Broadway-caliber productions feature recognisable songs by some of the world’s most beloved artists and contemporary dance numbers led by “Dancing with the Stars” choreographer Britt Stewart and an elevated mixology programme with innovative speciality cocktails.
“Today, we usher in a new era for Oceania Cruises with the delivery of Vista,” commented Oceania Cruises President Frank A. Del Rio. “Without our close partnership with Fincantieri, we could not have built such an exceptional ship.” We want to thank everyone who helped bring her to life. Vista is a masterpiece that guests will enjoy for decades to come, from the smallest architectural elements to the largest per capita galley at sea.”
Fincantieri’s primary goal in building Vista was to embody Oceania Cruises’ dedication to luxury and top-of-the-line guest experiences. Fincantieri’s extensive abilities and devotion to excellence are reflected in the innovative ship.
Vista will be christened by her godmother, celebrated Italian American chef, author, restaurateur, and Emmy Award-winning culinary personality Giada De Laurentiis, on May 8, 2023, at a special dazzling ceremony in Valletta, Malta.
Vista will sail to Canada and New England after her summer season in the Mediterranean before going south for a series of winter itineraries in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central America.
