Regent and Flou redefine rest at sea
Regent Seven Seas Cruises has partnered with Italian sleep specialist Flou to introduce a new benchmark in onboard comfort aboard Seven Seas Prestige™, launching in December 2026. The collaboration brings Flou’s handcrafted Leonardo Sleep System to the ship’s highest suite categories and culminates in a one‑of‑a‑kind custom bed designed exclusively for the Skyview Regent Suite.
As the brand’s first new ship class in a decade, Seven Seas Prestige is already set to offer one of the highest crew‑to‑guest and space‑to‑guest ratios in ultra‑luxury cruising, hosting around 822–850 guests on a 77,000‑ton platform with extensive new suite designs, restaurants, bars and lounges. Adding Flou’s sleep technology reinforces Regent’s positioning as “the world’s most luxurious cruise line,” extending its focus on wellness and rest into every night on board.

A custom Flou bed for the Skyview Regent Suite
The two‑story Skyview Regent Suite – a roughly 8,794 sq. ft. retreat perched over the bridge – will be the largest all‑inclusive ultra‑luxury cruise suite in history, commanding around $25,000 per night. At the heart of its principal bedroom is a bespoke Flou mattress created solely for this suite, conceived as a piece of Italian design that unites aesthetics, engineering and a guest‑centred approach to rest.
Measuring nearly 7 ft by 7 ft, the mattress incorporates over 10,000 micropocket springs across six temperature‑regulating layers, enhanced with natural antibacterial silver thread to promote hygiene and durability. Crafted using superior full‑grain leather and carefully selected woods chosen for their tactile richness and ability to age beautifully, the system is designed to improve over time as materials develop patina. Flou’s artisans have dedicated hundreds of hours to the project, creating a bed that delivers precise body support and a mechanical “memory” effect that adapts to each guest’s preferred sleeping position.
Skyview Regent Suite guests will also enjoy a curated pillow and linen menu, adding an extra layer of personalisation to what Regent positions as the most indulgent sleep experience at sea.
Leonardo Sleep System in Distinctive Suites
Beyond the flagship suite, Regent is rolling out Flou’s award‑winning Leonardo Sleep System across its ‘Distinctive Suites’ category on Seven Seas Prestige, from Seven Seas Suites up to Signature Suites. The system is built on four harmonised elements – bed base, mattress, top mattress and pillow – designed to balance support, breathability and comfort.
Natural fibre layers help regulate temperature and moisture, while the engineered support structure reduces pressure points, promoting a sense of calm and equilibrium at night. Each component is created in Italy by Flou’s bed‑makers, who blend traditional craftsmanship with modern engineering and premium materials. According to Flou board member Cristiana Messina, the partnership mirrors both brands’ belief that “true luxury begins with rest,” with the aim of making guests feel “embraced by the sea” and supported at every point of the body during sleep.
Seven Seas Prestige: space, service and wellness

Set for delivery in late 2026, Seven Seas Prestige will be around 40% larger than Regent’s existing ships yet carry only about 10% more guests. That translates into a crew‑to‑guest ratio of roughly 1:1.31 and one of the highest space‑to‑guest ratios in the industry, underpinning Regent’s “Unrivaled Space at Sea®” promise.
All‑balcony suites will span at least 12 categories, including four new designs such as the two‑level Skyview Suites and the headline Skyview Regent Suite, and guests can expect unlimited shore excursions, fine wines and spirits, multiple specialty restaurants and 11 distinct dining experiences in total. In this context, the Flou collaboration becomes a core pillar of the ship’s wellness story: rest is treated not as an afterthought, but as a defining element of the ultra‑luxury experience.
