Morocco’s enchanting allure is about to get a whole new chapter in luxury travel. Virgin Limited Edition, the award-winning collection of boutique hotels and retreats founded by Sir Richard Branson and part of the Virgin Hotels Collection, has just announced its next breathtaking destination — a brand-new small luxury hotel near Marrakech, set to open in 2027.

Tucked away just 25 minutes from the city’s buzzing Medina and surrounded by 10 hectares of pristine farmland, this upcoming hideaway promises the perfect mix of culture, calm, and craftsmanship. Think aromatic citrus groves, olive trees swaying in the breeze, and rich Moroccan heritage woven through every detail.

Developed in partnership with Marrakech-based Sazanes Immobilier, the estate will feature 37 elegantly designed suites, each inspired by Berber traditions and Moroccan artistry. Guests can look forward to three farm-to-table restaurants, a Chef’s Table, and a speakeasy bar, all serving dishes crafted from homegrown ingredients harvested across the estate’s 40-hectare organic farm.

Wellness and relaxation also take centre stage here. A traditional Moroccan hammam, a show-stopping 40-metre signature swimming pool, and a curated list of wellbeing experiences — from yoga and pilates to horseback riding and padel — ensure guests can find their own rhythm of rest and rejuvenation.
