Royal Caribbean has just announced that they’re opening up bookings for their 2024 -25 cruises season in Australia and New Zealand. Two of their most popular ships, Quantum of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas will be setting sail down again.
The beginning of Royal Caribbean International’s highly anticipated 2024-2025 season from Australia promises to be a fantastic summer for holidaymakers.
With the return of two award-winning ships, fan-favourite itineraries, and more weekend sailings from Australian ports than ever before, the cruise line’s cruise season will offer something for everyone.
Friends and families may enjoy new sun stations and pick from more than 40 domestic and international cruises aboard Quantum and Ovation to explore gorgeous destinations in Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific. Summer holidays sailing between November 2024 and April 2025 are now available for booking on Royal Caribbean’s website.
“After a triumphant return this season, we are thrilled to welcome back the two ships Australian holidaymakers have been raving about,” said Gavin Smith, vice president of Royal Caribbean, in reference to the line’s summer season plans cantered through Australia and New Zealand.
When describing the 2024-2025 cruise season, Smith said, “including surfing on the FlowRider, dining family style at Jamie’s Italian, and the whole family battling it out on the bumper cars in SeaPlex, the largest indoor activity space at sea.”
Departing from Brisbane, Quantum of the Seas will provide 11 fantastic 7-8-night cruises to Mystery Island, Port Vila, and Noumea in French New Caledonia.
Long-term cruise fans may take in the breathtaking sights of Milford Sound, the Bay of Islands, Napier, and Wellington throughout a 14-night cruise to New Zealand.
Quantum will also offer five 4-6-night Queensland excursions, including diving and snorkelling opportunities on the Great Barrier Reef and plenty of fresh seafood.
The Ovation of the Seas, one of the world’s largest cruise ships with a capacity of 5,000 guests, will sail from Sydney on six 10- to 11-night cruises to New Zealand and the South Pacific.
Ovation voyages will include a port visit in Noumea as well as time spent along the picturesque shores of deserted Mystery Island, located in the South Pacific Island of Vanuatu.
Royal Caribbean International will also offer a choice of shorter ocean-based excursions in the region for holidaymakers with less time to spend at sea or seeing other beaches, cities, and captivating sites in Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific.
Guests will be able to experience slightly shorter but no less enjoyable vacation getaways with a choice of eight 2-3-night weekend breaks departing from Sydney and Brisbane.
These getaways should be excellent for individuals looking for quality time with family or friends or relaxing with a special loved one over the weekend.
Furthermore, anyone who wants to extend the enjoyment can combine a weekend trip with a week-long cruise, resulting in an extended weekday and weekend cruise combo.
