Its debut marked the first time a hotel company expanded into the luxury cruising category, signifying The Ritz Carlton’s innovative approach to hospitality. With the imminent debut of Ilma and the expansion of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, The Ritz-Carlton promises more opportunities to discover global cultures through a distinct and unique lens.

Ilma is set to embark on its inaugural voyage on 2 September 2024, with a seven-night voyage from Monte Carlo, Monaco to Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy, inviting travellers to experience an extended Mediterranean season in response to strong demand for itineraries in the region.
These freshly available cruises will take passengers to the sun-drenched Amalfi Coast and the famed yachting playground of the French Riviera.

September 2, 2024 | 7-Night Monte Carlo, Monaco to Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy Explore the medieval hilltop towns along the countryside of Livorno as well as the cradle of the Renaissance in nearby Florence. Along the French Riviera, Cannes provides a sophisticated scene for shopping designer boutiques, while Corsica’s Baroque churches and plazas invite visitors to stroll through history. Charming Porto Cervo’s stylish social scene welcomes guests to the finest galleries and gourmet restaurants.
September 9, 2024 | 7-Night Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy to Athens (Piraeus), Greece Sail along the Italian Riviera, taking in the picturesque seaside in Taormina and Baroque architecture on display in Siracusa. Island hopping in the Greek Isles takes guests through the museums and churches in Monemvasia by day and later dances the night away at the legendary beach clubs in Mykonos.
Ilma will be 790 feet (241 metres) long and include 224 spacious, light-filled suites, each with a separate terrace. It will accommodate up to 448 guests and have one of the largest space ratios at sea and a considerable number of larger suites, including two new, spacious upper-category suites measuring more than 1,000 square feet each.
The superyacht will exhibit modern craft and exquisite interior finishes designed by AD Associates, a famous London-based architecture and design firm, as well as DPA, an award-winning lighting designer.
The yacht’s sleek and graceful exterior design, brilliantly created by Helsinki-based design company Aivan, is inspired by the beautiful aesthetics of private yacht design. The Ilma experience will represent the historic Ritz-Carlton brand’s signature, serene comfort and outstanding guest service.
Ilma offers one of the greatest staff-to-guest ratios in the luxury cruise category, with roughly one service member for every guest. In addition to unparalleled accommodations, the new superyacht will include five restaurants, six bars, a wine vault, and signature spaces on Evrima, such as an expanded marina with a new mezzanine feature and a signature Ritz Carlton Spa.
