New Highlights Across the Regent Fleet
The 2028–2029 season brings notable “firsts” for several Regent ships. Newbuild Seven Seas Prestige, due in late 2026, will debut in Canada & New England in autumn 2028 with five 11‑night itineraries timed for peak fall foliage, pairing dramatic coasts and seafood with Regent’s newest, most spacious ship.
Seven Seas Splendor will sail to Alaska for the first time, operating 16 new voyages that call on marquee ports such as Icy Strait Point, Skagway and Juneau, with up to 50 included shore excursions per sailing. Meanwhile, Seven Seas Voyager will enjoy a quiet Mediterranean winter season from November 2028, offering a different perspective on classic ports without the usual crowds.
New Regions and Maiden Ports
In a key deployment shift, Seven Seas Explorer will operate in Africa & Arabia for the first time, with spring 2029 voyages of 14–23 nights visiting ports such as Abidjan (Ivory Coast), Walvis Bay (Namibia), São Tomé (São Tomé and Príncipe) and Luanda (Angola). Across Northern Europe, 33 itineraries will showcase everything from Norwegian fjords to French and British coasts, and introduce maiden calls at Dundee and Oulu, broadening the brand’s footprint in the region.
In the Mediterranean, four ships—Seven Seas Grandeur, Explorer, Mariner and Voyager—will operate 63 voyages of seven to 21 nights, adding Šibenik in Croatia as a new port of call and expanding off‑season exploration opportunities. Further south, Seven Seas Mariner will offer three South America itineraries, including routes along the Amazon and to the Antarctic Peninsula.
Holiday Sailings, Overnights and Legendary Journeys
The collection includes nine festive holiday voyages across Asia, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and the South Pacific, designed for guests who prefer to spend the season at sea. In total, the deployment features 80 overnight stays, allowing deeper immersion in cities such as Bordeaux, Copenhagen and Tokyo long after sunset.
Regent further builds on its reputation for extended itineraries with three Grand Voyages ranging from 61 to 101 nights, spanning up to four continents and 14 overnights across Africa, Asia, Australia & New Zealand and Europe. The centrepiece is the 2029 “Eras of Exploration” World Cruise aboard Seven Seas Mariner—150 nights across seven continents and 31 countries, with 70 ports, 57 UNESCO sites and 326 included shore excursions.
All-Inclusive Luxury and Unrivaled Space at Sea
As with Regent’s current offering, the 2028–2029 Voyage Collection is built around a comprehensive all‑inclusive luxury model. Fares include unlimited shore excursions in every port, fine dining across specialty and al fresco venues, premium wines and spirits, in‑suite liquor and a replenished mini‑bar, unlimited internet, valet laundry, onboard entertainment, pre‑paid gratuities and a one‑night pre‑cruise hotel package for Concierge Suites and above.
On board, guests enjoy Unrivaled Space at Sea, with some of the industry’s largest standard suites and high crew‑to‑guest ratios, a hallmark that will be amplified on Seven Seas Prestige, which is set to be around 40% larger than previous Regent ships while carrying only about 10% more guests. This emphasis on space, service and inclusions positions Regent firmly at the ultra‑luxury end of the cruise spectrum for the decade ahead.
