Oman Air has announced a new codeshare arrangement with Thai Airways International to carry the Oman Air flight number on flights from Bangkok to Sydney and vice versa as part of the companies’ extended codeshare agreement.
As of this month, Thai Airways flights between Bangkok and Melbourne will be designated with the WY flight number, and as of 29 October 2023, Thai Airways services between Bangkok and Sydney will be covered by the same codeshare arrangement.
The Thai aircraft from Sydney arrives at 4:20 pm, connecting passengers with the Oman Air flight to Muscat, which departs from Bangkok at 8:40 pm and connects to additional Oman Air destinations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
One of the most stunning spots on the Arabian Peninsula is now easier to reach from Sydney. If you’re planning a trip to Oman, there’s no better way to get there than on Oman Air, where you can get a taste of Oman’s famous hospitality on the flight over. Australians are increasingly interested in travelling to Oman for a vacation.
Even though it has all the hallmarks of an exotic location, Oman is often neglected by tourists despite its magnificent beauty, authentic Arabian architecture, and fascinating culture.
Oman has something for everyone, whether you’re adventurous looking for new experiences or someone looking for an unwinding holiday away from home.
Travellers from Australia who wish to see Oman on their way to Europe may stop in Muscat and obtain a free 14-day visa.
