Following a record-breaking summer across the Atlantic, Delta customers can expect even more opportunities to visit sought-after destinations throughout the world next year. Flyers may pick from hubs around the United States to the history-rich city of Naples, Italy; the lush, green terrain of Shannon, Ireland; the stunning beauty of Zurich, Switzerland; and many more destinations.

Delta is the largest airline from its JFK base to Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, and will operate almost 260 weekly flights to 18 countries and 29 cities throughout the region next summer.
For the first time, Delta will provide nonstop service from JFK to Naples, Italy, the getaway to the Amalfi Coast and iconic destinations like Mount Vesuvius. Delta’s new daily service to Naples, which will begin on 23 May 2024, will be in addition to the airline’s existing service to Milan, Venice, and Rome.
Delta will resume service from JFK to Shannon, Ireland, starting on 23 May 2024. This nonstop route, last operated in 2019, connects Delta’s current flights to Dublin, including the recently announced new service from Minneapolis-Saint Paul.
Delta will offer seasonal service to the Emerald Isle from three of its U.S. hubs, Atlanta, Boston, and Minneapolis, in addition to year-round service from New York-JFK, with the official start of this route, which will run five times per week starting 9 May 2024.
Delta’s new trans-Atlantic operations from JFK next summer will be rounded up with a nonstop flight to Munich, which will operate thrice weekly beginning 9 April 2024.
Delta will resume nonstop service from Atlanta to Zurich four times per week beginning 31 May 2024, adding to the airline’s 180 weekly flights to twenty-one destinations in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East from its home base.
Meanwhile, Delta’s nonstop daily flight from Los Angeles International Airport to Auckland, which begins on 28 October 2023, will be extended to year-round service, flying daily from November to March and three times weekly from April to October. Delta will also begin twice-daily service from LAX to Sydney in December.
Delta will restore four-times-weekly year-round service to Shanghai-Pudong International Airport from its Los Angeles hub beginning 31 March 2024, after winter service from Seattle and Detroit. Delta passengers can effortlessly connect to numerous destinations in China thanks to the airline’s cooperation with China Eastern Airlines.
