The Lufthansa Group’s newest airline, City Airlines, has a new website ready for business.
The airline has yet to announce its formal launch date, but it is expected to begin service to “major European cities and remote regions” around the middle of 2023.
According to sources, the regional airline will fly with an Airbus fleet and is hiring staff.
Reportedly, City Airlines will attempt to merge the “quality of Lufthansa” with the “experience of Lufthansa CityLine,” yet another Lufthansa Group subsidiary.
According to the company’s website, City Airlines will utilise the “dynamism of a new young company.”
According to the website, City Airlines GmbH was established in Munich, the carrier’s hub, in the summer of 2022.
Being part of the Lufthansa Group, City Airlines will develop the European route network by focusing on short and medium-haul flights.
We extend the European route network in the Lufthansa Group and carry you to your destination in our modern and economical Airbus fleet,” the airline claims on its website.
The company’s success may be attributed to the professionalism of its pilots and flight attendants, who are well-trained to Lufthansa standards and incredibly diverse.
City Airlines is searching for a “highly professional team of colleagues” who can “think beyond the box” due to their wide range of experience and expertise.
