Bonza B737-Max
Bonza Airlines, Australia’s newest airline, has announced the addition of several new destinations from its Melbourne Avalon hub, now available on sale just in time for the Easter holidays.
The airline has added 12 new flights to 11 destinations, and one-way fares on the airline’s Fly Bonza app are on sale now and range from $49 to $89.
Travel agents who still need to sign up for the Bonza travel agency portal are kindly reminded to do so in order to secure their piece of the (presumably meat-filled) Bonza pie.
The 12 new routes are:

Melbourne Airport is Bonza’s second hub and only capital city stop on its first route schedule.
Jim Parashos, head of aviation at Melbourne Airport, expressed his delight at the announcement, stating that it was excellent for the state’s economy and would increase employment opportunities in the aviation and tourist industries.
Bonza’s chief commercial officer, Carly Povey, is a “proud Melbournite” who is “quite eager” to help her fellow city-dwellers go to Queensland for its year-round balmy climate.
To fly the routes on sale, the company will use its Melbourne-based crew and aircraft, including its fourth jet, Malc (named for a beloved icon who passed away recently).
Flights are still available until the end of October, so travellers may book now for the Easter, July, and September school holidays. The 30th of March has been set as the first flight’s departure date from Melbourne Airport.
