Cunard has revealed that it had booked more guests in the first week of January than in any comparable time in the past decade.
From January to March 2023 is Cunard’s “Wave Season” sale period. Summer itineraries and the inaugural season of the Queen Anne have proven to be particularly popular, driving up bookings for upcoming 2023 and 2024 sailings on the luxury line.
Carnival UK president Sture Myrmell said, “Following two of our strongest booking periods in 2022, we have seen unparalleled bookings during the start of Wave and have increased our marketing investment significantly, including TV advertising for the first time as we reach and appeal to new audiences. It’s clear that guests look forward to stepping back on board both in the UK and across all our global markets.”
Cunard is a British luxury cruise line known for providing passengers with once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Since its founding in 1840, Cunard has been the leading operator of North Atlantic passenger ships. This year marks the company’s extraordinary 182nd anniversary of service.
Cunard has been an industry leader for decades, setting the standard for transatlantic cruising. The hallmarks of a Cunard cruise are the high quality of the food, the carefully curated shows, and the impeccable service. Everything from the five-star restaurants and in-suite dining to the motivational speakers, the library, and the movie screenings has been carefully planned to make this an experience to remember. Destinations include Europe, the Caribbean, the Far East, and Australia.
Already in service are the Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth, and Queen Victoria, with the addition of the Queen Anne in early 2024. For the first time since 1999, Cunard will have four ships in operation at once thanks to this investment, which is part of the company’s ambitious plans for the future of Cunard around the world.
