Sydney WorldPride 2023 Pride Flight tickets are now on sale on Qantas and Virgin Australia.
WorldPride is a biennial event that is one of the most prominent LGBTQ+ celebrations in the world. Cities compete to host the event, similar to how the Olympic Games are hosted.
Sydney will host WorldPride 2023 from 17 February until 5 March.
As the official airline partner of Sydney WorldPride, Qantas will bring members of the LGBTQI+ community from the U. S. to Australia on its WorldPride flight on 22 February 2023.
All Pride Flight services offered by Virgin Australia will include Coco Jumbo, Karen from Finance, Kween Kong, and Maxi Shield, among other top Australian drag acts.

Australian comedian Joel Creasey will host the flight’s entertainment. Each passenger will get a pair of exclusive “Rainbow Roo” pyjamas from Qantas.
Qantas’ head of food, drinks, and service, the acclaimed Australian chef Neil Perry, will also design a special menu for the flight.
Live and Proud: Sydney WorldPride Opening Concert tickets, including a performance by Kylie Minogue, will be provided to all travellers as a complimentary perk on this journey.
Qantas CEO Alan Joyce said to the media, “Supporting the LGBTQI+ community is part of the Qantas ethos,” and that the flight crew will be made up of members of Qantas’ LGBTQ+ staff support group, Qantas Illuminate.
At the same time, Virgin Australia and United Airlines have partnered to provide nonstop Pride Flight service between San Francisco and Sydney.
In addition to Maxi Shield, Kween Kong, and Coco Jumbo from RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under, several prominent Australian drag queens will serve as hosts for the Pride Flight services sponsored by Virgin Australia.
