Asiana Airlines is growing its presence in Australia. It has announced plans for a seasonal increase on its Sydney to Seoul route beginning August 2023. In addition, four of Asiana’s nine weekly flights will be operated by the airline’s flagship Airbus A380. As of the 8th of August, the total number of services will consist of nine different frequencies each week.
Since South Korea removed all of the remaining Covid-19 restrictions in October 2022, there has been a significant increase in the number of tourists heading to Korea, creating a new demand for the airline to accommodate.
Commencing on the 8th of August 2023, the airline will operate three different aircraft on the route, including the Airbus A350, the Boeing 777, and the Airbus A380.
