Abercrombie & Kent Group has officially signed an agreement with the esteemed Egyptian shipbuilder, The Arab Contractors, to construct a second luxury riverboat set to sail the Nile in 2028.
This forthcoming vessel, whose name will be revealed soon, will act as a sister ship to the much-anticipated Nile Seray, which is scheduled for delivery in late 2026. Echoing the refined and contemporary style of Nile Seray, the new riverboat will offer 32 spacious suites for 64 guests, each boasting a minimum of 33 square meters with floor-to-ceiling windows and waterside Juliet balconies for stunning river views. Two suites feature full private balconies with outdoor spa pools, creating an elevated haven on the Nile.
Guests aboard this exceptional new ship will be treated to two restaurants led by world-class chefs, a luxurious spa with two treatment rooms, a well-equipped gymnasium, and a panoramic top deck with canopied daybeds, a swimming pool, and an outdoor bar offering breathtaking views of the Nile valley.
With the introduction of this second vessel, Abercrombie & Kent is making its most significant fleet expansion in Egypt in almost fifty years, growing its collection to six ships, including both traditional dahabiyas and riverboats.
The expansion coincides with Egypt’s rising global profile, highlighted by the recent unveiling of the Grand Egyptian Museum and a notable increase in bookings for tailor-made holidays and private experiences.
This additional ship truly cements Abercrombie & Kent’s position as a pioneer in luxury travel and river cruising. By continuing to invest in new vessels and exceptional experiences, Abercrombie & Kent creates luxury dreams for discerning travellers, offering unique opportunities to explore Egypt in comfort and style while maintaining an uncompromising commitment to service, elegance, and adventure.
Each new ship reflects the brand’s dedication to redefining river travel, ensuring that every journey along the Nile is rich in discovery and unforgettable moments.
