Oman Air has achieved a remarkable milestone, earning two of the industry’s most coveted awards. The airline has become one of only 10 airlines worldwide to receive the prestigious APEX WORLD CLASSÔ by YATES+ award. Additionally, it is the first airline to gain this status for its Business Class Lounge at Muscat International Airport. These accolades were announced at the APEX/IFSA Awards Ceremony in Long Beach, California, USA.

The APEX WORLD CLASSÔ by YATES+ award, a collaboration between YATES+, a guest experiences transformation consultancy, and the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX), represents the highest level of achievement for an airline. This award is based on a comprehensive audit across seventeen dimensions important to travellers today. The audits are conducted by industry professionals from YATES+ and are peer-reviewed and validated by Associate Professor Dr. Maxwell Winchester of Victoria University and Copenhagen Business School, ensuring rigorous standards.
