Azamara, the small-ship cruise line renowned for Destination Immersion and Extended Destination Days, has officially launched Azamara Onward’s first-ever World Cruise, marking the start of an extraordinary 155-night journey. An exclusive World Cruise Welcome Party took place at the Harbour Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., bringing guests worldwide together before officially setting sail on 6 January.
The celebratory soirée was hosted by Cruise Director Eric De Grey, who welcomed loyal guests and Azamara newcomers alike. Chief Financial Officer Alain Ferzli addressed the gathering on behalf of the whole Azamara team, expressing excitement and gratitude for the World Cruisers.
Azamara Onward will visit over forty destinations on six continents over the next five months, with Extended Destination Days, including 22 overnight stays and 27 late nights in port, giving guests ample time to explore each destination’s rich culture and history fully. The AzAmazing Celebrations and three special World Cruise activities on the 2024 World Cruise are likewise meant to present guests with an unparalleled and immersive experience. Among other enthralling experiences, World Cruisers will revel in luxury and local entertainment on a full-day tour of the Taj Mahal and witness a unique performance in Istanbul, Turkey’s second-largest underground cistern.
Because of the overwhelming success of the sold-out 2024 World Cruise, Azamara has announced additional world cruises for 2025 and 2026, which are proving popular.
