Norwegian Spirit To Call Australia Home For A Third Season

Norwegian Cruise Line, Norwegian Spirit,  will spend her third season in Australia, with a brand-new local route between Sydney and Bali.

During the 2024/25 season, Norwegian Cruise Line has added to its collection of exotic itineraries, and one of those is Spirit’s 14-day open jaw journey from Sydney to Bali via the Queensland coast in December 2024, which will reposition her to Asia before her first continental voyage on 21 December.

The itinerary for the cruise included stops in Cairns and Darwin, as well as an overnight stay in Bali. In November 2025, the Spirit will be the first Norwegian Cruise Line ship to visit Rarotonga. Norwegian Sun and Norwegian Sky will make their maiden voyages in Asia from October 2024 to May 2025, delivering an extensive eight-month season featuring country-intensive itineraries to the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Japan.

Among the highlights is a collection of suggested itineraries for seeing Japan’s cherry blossoms and autumn foliage. During the Sun’s 12-day journey from Tokyo beginning on 23 October 2024, Norwegian Cruise Line will make its first-ever stop in Akita. Norwegian Cruise Line debut calls in Bahrain, Egypt, and Jordan on its first dedicated Middle East sailing are among the season’s other highlights.

Norwegian 7-day Sun cruise from Doha to Dubai will set sail on 12 April 2025. Guests will have extra time to see Abu Dhabi thanks to an overnight stay, and the open-jaw itinerary also includes stops in Dammam, Manama, and Sir Bani Yas.

On 1 March 2025, Norwegian will embark on its maiden cruise from Ushuaia, with the Norwegian Star sailing a 14-day South American trip to Brazil and Antarctica. This once-in-a-lifetime cruise gives guests additional time in port by cutting down on the number of days spent at sea.

In addition to seeing Puerto Madryn, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Punta Del Este, and Sao Paulo, guests will also get to see the glacier mountains and indigenous fauna surrounding Paradise Harbour as they sail through the area.
