Costa Cruises has unveiled Costa Fortuna’s new summer 2023 itineraries, which include three exclusive trips intended to take passengers on a journey of discovery around the Mediterranean.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see some of the most stunning places of the Mediterranean and learn about the region’s fascinating history and culture.
Costa Cruises is doing something new this summer by offering two-week cruises in the Mediterranean. The season will conclude with several shorter voyages to Barcelona and Marseilles, with the ship alternating between three different itineraries.
The first voyage visits the Greek and Balearic Islands from Savona, Italy. By seeing two of the Mediterranean’s most well-known cities in a single trip, this itinerary offers an unforgettable experience.
Some of the island’s guests will see include Mykonos, Santorini, Kefalonia, Rhodes, and Crete. Before returning to Savona, passengers will stop at the Balearic Isle of Palma de Mallorca and the Mediterranean hubs of Barcelona and Marseille.
The second is a voyage to the Canary Islands. Arrecife, Puerto del Rosario, Las Palmas, San Sebastian de la Gomera, and Santa Cruz de Tenerife are just five of the stunning destinations they may visit in this enchanting archipelago. Madeira, Málaga, Savona, and, on certain cruises, Civitavecchia/Rome, are also included in the itinerary.
The third itinerary includes Istanbul, Izmir, Athens in Greece, and Malta. Savona, Civitavecchia (Rome), Catania (Sicily), Barcelona (Spain), and Marseille (France) will all be available to guests. For September and October departures, the itinerary includes a night in Istanbul.
Finally, beginning in October and continuing until around mid-November, Costa Fortuna will provide mini-cruises of three and four days in the western Mediterranean from Savona to Barcelona and Marseille.
The new Costa Fortuna itineraries significantly add to the company’s extensive Mediterranean cruise offerings.
All five of Costa Cruises’ ships, including the Costa Fortuna, will sail the Mediterranean, with three sailing on the western and two on the eastern sides, each providing seven-day cruises.
Several of the most well-known spots in Italy, France, and Spain will be visited by the Coast Smeralda, Costa Toscana, and Costa Diadema.
Guests aboard the Costa Deliziosa, which departs from Venice/Marghera and Bari, can see some of Greece’s most stunning islands, such as Mykonos and Santorini.
The Costa Deliziosa is ideal for those who like to cruise the Aegean in elegance while experiencing Greece’s rich history and culture. Recently, the same cruise ship left on a global cruise that would span 128 days.
The Costa Pacifica’s final destination is Malta and the Greek islands, and it will set sail from its new home port of Taranto.
The Costa Fortuna, with a gross tonnage of 102,669, is a luxurious cruise liner that offers a perfect holiday. Onboard, guests may enjoy various facilities and entertainment options, including four swimming pools, a water park, a wellness centre, a gym, a jogging track, and a theatre. There are 1,358 cabins on board the Destiny; therefore, it can hold 3,470 guests
