Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch Opens for Reservations Ahead of Autumn Debut
Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch, the highly anticipated luxury hotel and residences set within one of London’s most recognisable landmarks, is opening reservations today ahead of its autumn debut.
Reservations are now live for stays from 1 March 2027, marking the next chapter for one of London’s most ambitious restoration projects and a defining milestone for Waldorf Astoria in the United Kingdom.
Historic Admiralty Arch Transformed into Intimate Luxury Hotel

Spanning 200,000 square feet and standing at the ceremonial heart of London, Admiralty Arch has long been synonymous with national pageantry and state occasions.
Commissioned by King Edward VII in memory of Queen Victoria and designed by Sir Aston Webb (the architect behind the Buckingham Palace façade), it was conceived as a defining gateway to the capital.
Now, a meticulous restoration has transformed this historic Grade I listed monument opposite Buckingham Palace into a luxury Waldorf Astoria hotel that will welcome overnight guests for the first time in its history.
Positioned on The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace in St James’s, the restored monument will be unmistakably London: historic in stature, contemporary in spirit.
Destination Dining by Michelin-Celebrated Chefs

Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature destination dining by Michelin-celebrated chefs:
- Clare Smyth MBE (the only British woman whose restaurants hold four Michelin stars)
- Daniel Boulud
Together, these globally celebrated chefs’ restaurants hold eight Michelin stars between them.
Coreus by Clare Smyth MBE
Set within the former home of the First Sea Lord, Coreus will be Smyth’s fine dining concept celebrating the UK’s coastal heritage, with menus centred on:
- Sustainably sourced seafood
- British produce
- Seasonal ingredients
Smyth will also introduce an intimate Whiskey & Seaweed bar concept, inspired by her iconic Potato and Roe dish, featuring:
- A curated collection of whiskies from across the UK
- A refined cocktail and wine programme
Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud
Located on the rooftop, Café Boulud will mark Boulud’s return to London with an all-day dining format spanning:
- Breakfast, pastries and afternoon tea
- Lunch and dinner
Positioned at the top of Admiralty Arch, the restaurant and terrace will offer one of London’s most distinctive rooftop dining settings, pairing Boulud’s cuisine with sweeping views across St James’s Park and Buckingham Palace.
114 Elegantly Designed Rooms, Suites and Residences

The hotel will feature 114 elegantly designed rooms, suites and residences, each carefully crafted to:
- Respect the building’s historic architecture
- Introduce the understated elegance and service for which Waldorf Astoria is known
Expansive residential and signature suites will occupy more than half of the accommodation space, showcasing a distinctly residential expression of luxury.

The names of the residences and signature suites reference the building’s unique history and naval heritage, including:
- Nelson Suite
- St James’s Residence
- Victory Residence (named after HMS Victory)
Grand Event Spaces for Celebration and Cultural Gathering
A collection of grand and intimate event spaces will accommodate a range of occasions from gala dinners and weddings to conferences and brand events.
The ballroom spans 3,540 square feet and features a nine-metre antique Murano chandelier restored in Rome.
Guests will arrive via a dedicated entrance, descending the building’s original oval staircase to the ballroom below.
An Intimate Approach to Wellness

In contrast to the building’s grand public spaces, the hotel’s spa offers a more private and intimate experience, shaped by Waldorf Astoria’s philosophy of intuitive, personalised care.
The spa will serve as a haven of calm with:
- Individual and couples’ treatment rooms
- Sauna
- Steam room
- Hydrotherapy pool
- Private relaxation area
Skilled therapists will curate treatments designed to restore balance and renewal. Designed to feel discreet and self-contained, the spa is complemented by state-of-the-art fitness facilities.
