Silversea has unveiled a transformed Silver Muse after the ultra-luxury ship completed its first major dry dock since entering service in 2017, emerging with a stronger culinary focus, refreshed spaces and new suite options. The highlight is the debut of the line’s hallmark S.A.L.T. (Sea And Land Taste) culinary program on board, alongside an upgraded pool deck, new leisure features and enhanced food and beverage concepts across signature venues.
S.A.L.T. Kitchen and Bar Come to Silver Muse
For the first time, Silver Muse now features the full S.A.L.T. experience, with S.A.L.T. Kitchen and S.A.L.T. Bar joining the existing S.A.L.T. Experiences program. Guests can now enjoy destination-inspired menus that change with the itinerary, paired with regionally influenced cocktails designed to reflect each port of call.
This expansion of S.A.L.T. brings Silver Muse in line with Silversea’s newer ships, giving guests a deeper sense of place through food and drink without compromising the line’s hallmark intimacy and elegance. According to Silversea president Bert Hernandez, the upgrade is all about enriching cultural and culinary immersion based directly on guest feedback.
Elevated Food and Beverage Across the Ship

Beyond S.A.L.T., Silver Muse’s refit introduces refreshed concepts across several of Silversea’s signature venues. Dolce Vita now leans into an Italian‑inspired aperitivo experience with new signature cocktails, including the bold Cerberus Negroni made with gin, Pedro Ximénez‑infused Campari and sage butter vermouth.
Arts Café has been elevated with refined pastries and Ronnefeldt tea selections, while La Terrazza debuts a tableside martini cart, new cocktails and expanded non‑alcoholic options to complement its Italian menus. The Grill has enhanced its poolside classics, and the in‑suite dining program now offers a refreshed dinner menu and all‑day favourites served by dedicated butlers.
New Leisure Spaces and Refined Interiors

Guests stepping back on board will also notice a suite of new leisure amenities and refreshed outdoor areas. The refit introduces a pickleball court, putting green and simulator experience, adding more ways to unwind and stay active at sea.
The pool deck has received updated furnishings and a more contemporary look, preserving Silver Muse’s relaxed, club‑like atmosphere while subtly modernising the overall feel. Inside, public spaces have been refreshed to align with Silversea’s current design language, enhancing the sense of space and refinement without losing the ship’s original character.
New Medallion Suites: Space and Value Combined
As part of the refurbishment, Silversea has introduced new Medallion Suites that aim to offer an attractive balance between space and value. These suites feature a private veranda, a luxurious bathroom with double vanity, bathtub and walk‑in shower, plus a secluded bedroom area with a king‑size bed.
The additional category gives guests more flexibility in how they choose to upgrade their onboard experience, sitting neatly between existing suite types while maintaining Silversea’s all‑suite, all‑inclusive standards. Combined with the refreshed public areas and expanded dining options, Silver Muse now feels closer to the line’s newest ships in both look and offering.
Silver Spirit Is Next in Line
Silver Muse’s Palermo dry dock is just the beginning of a wider fleet investment program that will soon extend to Silver Spirit. Later this year at Fincantieri’s Palermo shipyard, Silver Spirit is set to receive expanded public spaces, revitalised interiors and the addition of S.A.L.T. Kitchen and S.A.L.T. Bar, along with an upgraded pool deck and elegant lounges inspired by Silver Muse’s refreshed décor.
For luxury cruisers, these renovations signal Silversea’s clear intent: to keep its established ships feeling current and competitive while doubling down on immersive culinary storytelling and thoughtful, guest‑led enhancements across the fleet.
