Rex is offering a major bargain to celebrate the reopening of Australia’s state borders to bring families together in time for Christmas.
In addition to offering great nationwide bargains, the regional airline will also offer rock-bottom fares between Sydney and Melbourne.
Rex also offers $99 tickets from Sydney to regional areas of the state, while flights between the NSW and Victorian capitals sell for as little as $69 each way.
Flights from Sydney to outlying sections of the state are available from Rex for $99, with fares as low as $69 between NSW and Victoria’s capital.
Australian families would benefit from the ‘exceptional’ bargain, which offers low fares at a time when airfares are typically surging.
Sydney-to-Melbourne flights typically cost up to $150 one way, but Rex offers $69 round-trip flights for individuals looking to see family, friends, or simply take a much-needed vacation.
It is the same pricing for flights to Canberra from Sydney and Melbourne.
Due to the program’s goal of reuniting families, Rex is giving $99 round-trip prices from Sydney to remote places including Albury and Armidale as part of the plan.
The offers start rolling in on November 15 and continue through Christmas and into next year’s first quarter.
‘I would urge travellers to book without delay as these sale fares will undoubtedly sell out quickly,’ Rex Deputy Chairman John Sharp said on Sunrise.
‘The resumption of our flights will provide a much-needed boost to capital cities and regional economies alike, help re-connect friends and families and allow Christmas holidays to be booked with confidence.’
The ticket not only includes the fare but Rex are also including all the add-ons, including luggage and food.
‘We’re offering a full service, you’ll get your luggage included in the price, refreshments on board and we’ve got a 100 per cent refund guarantee if you can’t take your flight,’ Mr Sharp said.
