Qantas is turning up the rewards for Frequent Flyers with the return of its popular Double Status Credits or Qantas Points offer, marking the second time the airline has launched this promotion in less than six months. Starting today and running for seven days, members booking any Qantas-marketed and operated regional, domestic, or international flights can choose to earn double their usual Status Credits or Qantas Points. Additionally, double points are available on Qantas Hotel and Holiday bookings during this period.
Members need to register via the Qantas App to take advantage of the offer and can make unlimited bookings for travel between 4 September 2025 and 22 August 2026. This initiative follows a highly successful campaign in March 2025, which saw participation from hundreds of thousands of members eager to accelerate their rewards.
Fast-Track Your Status or Boost Your Points Balance
Qantas Loyalty CEO Andrew Glance highlights that this is one of the most eagerly anticipated offers of the year, allowing members to unlock valued travel benefits more quickly. Travellers can accelerate their journey through the Qantas status tiers—Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Platinum One—by earning double Status Credits. Climbing tiers unlocks a world of perks, including access to more than 650 Qantas and partner lounges worldwide, priority check-in and boarding, and additional baggage allowances.
On the other hand, members can opt to double their Qantas Points, helping build their points balance more quickly. These points can be redeemed for reward seats, flight upgrades, hotel stays, purchases on the Qantas Marketplace, or entertainment through Ticketek. During the last offer, two-thirds of participants preferred to double their Status Credits, while one-third chose to boost their points.
A Strong Loyalty Program with Growing Customer Satisfaction
Qantas’ recently released financial results for FY25 show a notable increase in customer satisfaction, rising by 10 percentage points compared to the previous year. The popularity of Classic Plus bookings surged past one million seats for the year, with one in four members redeeming points for flights for the first time in five years.
Qantas Group CEO Vanessa Hudson expressed pride in the progress made, emphasising the airline’s commitment to delivery and customer experience. The airline and its Jetstar subsidiary carried four million more customers in FY25, and the Loyalty program saw heightened member engagement than ever before.
“Our solid financial results allow us to invest in new aircraft and customer-focused initiatives,” Hudson said, “which help us deliver better operational performance and satisfaction.”
Bonus Status Credits for Loyal Members
As a thank you to frequent flyers, Qantas will automatically credit bonus Status Credits to members who have engaged with the loyalty program in the last 18 months. The bonus amounts will vary by member tier and are set to appear in accounts in September, further incentivising members to stay active and engaged.
Qantas continues to reinforce its position as a leading airline with a rewarding loyalty program that helps frequent flyers maximise their travel experiences. With double points and status credits back for a limited time, now is an excellent opportunity to fast-track benefits and save on future trips.
