Oceania Cruises, the world’s largest culinary and destination-focused cruise line, introduces Allura, naming the second Allura Class ship, which will carry 1,200 passengers. Allura, the line’s eighth ship, will debut in 2025 and will be the sister ship of Vista, which will sail in May 2023.
Allura, named to reflect the excitement of embarking on an exciting new journey, will inspire visitors to experience some of the world’s most captivating destinations while sailing the open seas. Allura reflects the eternal appeal of the enigmatic and unknown. The magnificent new ship will take passengers to a world of magic full of new adventures, familiar faces, off-the-beaten-path destinations, and more.
“At Oceania Cruises, we are constantly exploring ways to grow, elevate, and modernise our services in order to consistently surprise and delight our discerning guests as they enjoy immersive new experiences,” stated Oceania Cruises President Frank A. Del Rio. “We are happy with the incredible demand we have experienced for Allura’s sister ship, Vista, with her 2023 maiden season already booked out. Allura will be equally as popular with our guests.
The arrival of each new ship is a great chance to take a thorough look at what we have to offer travellers. As we prepare to welcome Allura into the family, we have already begun preparing exciting new additions to the fleet.”
Allura will cruise a variety of destination-rich itineraries while serving The Finest Cuisine at Sea, showcasing exceptionally personalised service with warm and welcoming staff and featuring captivating residential furnishings and décor. Allura, which weighs approximately 67,000 tonnes, will accommodate 1,200 guests and be serviced by 800 officers and crew members, providing industry-leading capacity and staff-to-guest ratios.
Allura highlights include Ember, an upscale signature restaurant offering reworked American classics, and Aquamar Kitchen, both of which will debut on Vista in May, as well as the biggest basic staterooms and a new Chef’s Studio.
The all-veranda vessel is currently under construction in Italy by renowned shipbuilder Fincantieri S.p.A. and will set sail in spring 2025.
Details about Allura’s debut season, including a fascinating mix of marquee and boutique locations from Europe and the Americas, will be released this spring, with tickets going on sale in the summer.
“Allura’s inaugural voyages are meant to appeal to all global travellers, whether they revel in the excitement of reuniting with their favourite destinations or are eager to see new places and sights for the first time,” Del Rio added.
