Live Stations and Gourmet Dining: A Culinary Experience at the Lounge
A standout feature of the new lounges is the introduction of interactive Live Stations – where chefs from the prestigious Grand Hyatt Incheon prepare dishes fresh on-site. Guests can watch hand-tossed pizzas being made, savour chef-carved beef steak, or indulge in freshly baked croissants. Korean culinary favourites such as premium gimbap, rice cake soup (tteokguk), and banquet noodles (janchi guksu) offer authentic tastes crafted with seasonal ingredients that change quarterly.
Complementing the dining experience are dedicated bartenders crafting cocktails and in-house baristas in the Miler Club, preparing freshly brewed specialty coffee. The combination of Western and Korean cuisines ensures a sophisticated, varied buffet designed to please every palate.
Elegant Design Inspired by Korean Heritage
Korean Air’s lounges beautifully blend traditional Korean design elements with modern luxury. The interiors feature a refined colour palette of gold, charcoal, black, and ivory that mirrors the airline’s premium cabins. Incorporating Hanok-inspired architecture with materials such as wood, marble, and metal, the lounges offer a serene yet sophisticated atmosphere. The thoughtful layout creates distinct zones for dining, relaxation, working, and wellness, departing from the typical lounge experience and enhancing passengers’ comfort and convenience.
The two new Prestige Garden Lounges provide tranquil retreats: the East Lounge overlooks a traditional Korean garden. At the same time, the West Lounge showcases a contemporary Western-style garden, giving passengers peaceful spaces to unwind.
Expanded Facilities for Ultimate Comfort
Beyond exceptional dining and design, the renovated lounges feature wellness areas with massage chairs, high-tech zones for work and entertainment, private shower suites with premium amenities, and meeting rooms equipped with advanced conferencing technology. These facilities cater to diverse traveller needs, whether seeking rest, productivity, or socialising.
A Vision for the Future: Expansion and Integration
This first phase marks the beginning of Korean Air’s extensive lounge renewal. Scheduled for completion in 2026, the next phase will renovate the First Class Lounge, Prestige East (Left) Lounge, and Prestige West Lounge, nearly doubling the overall lounge space at Incheon from 5,105 to 12,270 square meters. Seating capacity will also increase from 898 to 1,566.
These upgrades are part of Korean Air’s strategic investments ahead of their full integration with Asiana Airlines, ensuring an enhanced premium passenger experience for the combined airline’s growing customer base.
For travellers seeking a refined, comfortable, and luxurious pre-flight experience, Korean Air’s newly renovated lounges at Incheon International Airport set a new benchmark in airport hospitality.
