Whether you’re treating yourself, your friends, or your family this summer, the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney), operated by ASM Global, offers a diverse range of entertainment events at its acclaimed theatres.
In the following months, the ICC Sydney will host 35 acts, attracting an estimated 125,000 guests to experience various events ranging from rock concerts to comedy and orchestral music performances to inspiring speakers and children’s classics.
This side of Christmas, Australia’s world-class venue in the heart of Darling Harbour, will host Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriter’s Hall of Fame inductee Jackson Browne, electro trailblazers Kraftwerk, legendary live performer Harry Connick Jr, the world’s most popular children’s entertainment group The Wiggles, and orchestral film screenings The Holiday in Concert and Love Actually in Concert before the year is through.
Geoff Donaghy, CEO of ICC Sydney and Group Director – Convention Centres, ASM Global (APAC), said there are live entertainment events for every taste.
“Following a record-breaking year of entertainment events – we have another sizzling calendar of events this summer. The diversity of our shows ensures there is something for everyone, and we are looking forward to continuing to warmly welcome guests to experience the best of entertainment across our venues.”
“Give the gift of a live entertainment event experience this holiday season – creating memories to last a lifetime,” Mr Donaghy added.
Early in the new year, visitors will be dazzled by performances from globally acclaimed singer/songwriter and 7-time Grammy award nominee Ryan Adams, multi-platinum alt-pop phenomenon Melanie Martinez, Grammy-nominated and critically acclaimed California native Beth Hart, as well as Fleetwood Mac by Candlelight and Queen by Candlelight.
Storyteller Kevin McCloud, SAS Australia star and best-selling author Ant Middleton, and ‘uplifting comedy king’ Russell Howard will entertain audiences in early February.
More big-name bands will take the stage in March, including Grammy-winning Indie Folk band The National, with special guests Fleet Foxes and Annie Hamilton.
