Emirates Skywards Unveils Flight Rewards for Premium Economy Cabin

A new era has arrived for Emirates Skywards members, as the airline’s award-winning loyalty program rolls out Classic Rewards and Upgrade Rewards for travel in the celebrated Emirates Premium Economy cabin. This eagerly anticipated initiative rewards over 35 million Skywards members with greater choice and access to the brand’s luxurious newest class, showing the carrier’s commitment to flying customers better every season.

Redefining Loyalty, Expanding Choices

From September 10, Emirates Skywards members can redeem their Miles for Premium Economy flights, starting from just 15,000 Miles one-way, or upgrade their ticket from Economy for as little as 7,020 Miles. Upgrades are available pre-flight or, subject to space, at check-in—making premium travel more flexible and attainable than ever. According to Dr. Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President Emirates Skywards, this move follows the enormous success and demand for Premium Economy rewards on popular long-haul routes like London, Sydney, Melbourne, and New York. The offer is available exclusively to Skywards members for now, with plans to extend opportunities to partner airlines soon.

Classic Rewards, Cash+Miles, and More

Recent expansions mean Emirates Skywards members can use Classic Rewards for all flydubai flights, starting at just 5,000 Miles, plus enjoy revised Cash+Miles rates for even deeper flexibility. This summer alone, nearly half a million tickets were booked with Skywards Miles, reflecting the unwavering appeal of Emirates loyalty offerings for travelers headed to iconic destinations including London, Paris, New York, and Bangkok.

The Premium Economy Experience

Emirates sets the standard across the region for Premium Economy, blending comfort and refinement into every flight. Guests enjoy dedicated check-in desks, plush cream leather seats with up to 40-inch pitch, calf and footrests, gourmet meals, premium wine selections, and the ice entertainment system—a 13.3” screen loaded with over 6,500 channels. Investing to Fly Better

The Emirates retrofit programme continues to transform the fleet, introducing a total of US$5 billion investment to refurbish 219 aircraft. To date, 67 aircraft—including A380s and Boeing 777s—have been upgraded, and the arrival of 9 Airbus A350s marks another step towards expanding Premium Economy reach. By March 2026, Emirates expects to serve 68 cities with its Premium Economy offering, nearly doubling available seats to 4 million per year by the end of 2026.
