Curnard’s Queen Anne Will Set Sail For Her First Season In 2024

Cunard has revealed the name of its newest ship that will ascend the throne. Queen Anne will be Cunard’s 249th ship, joining Queen Mary 2, Royal Victoria, and Queen Elizabeth in a unique quartet. Cunard will have four ships in the water for the first time since 1999.

Cunard considered many names, but Queen Anne’s reign inspired them after considerable study with British historian, novelist, and television presenter Kate Williams.

“It’s exciting that the fourth ship in the fleet will be named after Queen Anne. “She has a great story to tell about queenship, the unity of a developing constitutional monarchy, and a golden period of the arts,” Ms Williams said.

“She was an amazing lady who her people adored. She deserves to be recognised. This new Cunard ship is the ideal vessel for the job.”

Queen Anne has been designed with Cunard’s characteristic spaces and additional dining, culture, and entertainment choices, all while providing exceptional White Star service.

World-class architects designed the ship, and the interior features vibrant colours and a distinctive style while keeping Cunard’s timeless refinement and history.

The first sailings of the Queen Anne will begin in early 2024, with the ship’s debut season going on sale in May.
