Bonza, Australia’s only independent low-cost airline, is celebrating a year since it received its flying licence with a 50% off sale.
Bonza was awarded its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) in the very same week last year, officially marking the occasion with a purple seal of approval. This was the beginning of the biggest network rollout in Australian aviation history, which the airline has now completed, adding 38 flights to 21 destinations across five states and territories, carrying over 650,000 passengers in 2023.
The four-day sale started yesterday and finishes on Thursday, 11 January, for travel between 6 February and 6 March, 13 March and 27 March, 28 April and 19 June, and 16 July and 12 September 2024 with the promo code THUMBSUP.
“The competitive landscape in Australian aviation changed for the better when Bonza received its AOC, and we continue our Shazza vs Goliath battle to democratise the aviation sector across the country with a promise to deliver low-cost airfares to the many, not the few,” said Tim Jordan, CEO of Bonza,
“This four-day sale will allow Aussie families and friends to travel to the Northern Territory for less than $75 per person or head to North Queensland or Tassie for less than $50 per person, and we hope our customers take advantage of this positive purple start to 2024.”
Travellers are encouraged to download the Fly Bonza app, which is the only place where they may book directly.
