Cunard Line, the operator of the luxury liner Queen Elizabeth, has announced that the ship would arrive in Fremantle, Australia, on 7 November for her first local call since the beginning of the pandemic.
The inaugural Great Australian Culinary Voyage, a five-night roundtrip from Sydney departing on 28 January, will feature local produce and menus created by celebrity chefs Matt Moran, Mark Olive, and Darren Purchese. This is just one of many themed cruises offered during Queen Elizabeth’s record-breaking 121-day local deployment.
Also departing from Melbourne on 4 February 2023 is Cunard’s first-ever Gardening Journey, a seven-night voyage with TV growers Graham Ross and Jamie Durie.
Queen Elizabeth will also make an inaugural circumnavigation of Australia, with local Australian celebrities Peter Cosgrove, Dawn Fraser, and Nova Peris inspiring guests by sharing stories and insights from their different professions.
A selection of select sailings is available with savings of up to 25%, such as the around Australia cruise, which starts at $7,029 per person twin share (rather than $10,349) in a Balcony Stateroom.
Cunard’s trademark events, like daily Afternoon Tea, Gala Balls, dancing workshops, deck games, and art deco-inspired public areas, are included on the voyages.
