PONANT Explorations Partners with The Explorers Club, Adds Paul Gauguin Cruises & Aqua Expeditions

There’s big news for adventure seekers and lovers of ocean discovery! PONANT, the French luxury expedition cruise company, has announced the exciting expansion of its partnership with The Explorers Club. Starting in late 2026, these exclusive, expert-led voyages—already a highlight on PONANT’s own sailings since 2024—will now extend to Paul Gauguin Cruises and Aqua Expeditions.

The Explorers Club, renowned for supporting field research, science, and conservation for over 120 years, will bring their roster of scientists, filmmakers, authors, photographers, and adventurers to all three cruise lines.

This means guests will have the chance to interact with some truly inspiring minds while discovering the planet’s most compelling destinations.

The rollout kicks off for the 2026–2027 season with two special departures aboard m/s Paul Gauguin and four departures on Aqua Expeditions. Across the PONANT group, more than 15 exclusive Explorers Club voyages are set for 2026 and 2027, featuring world-class speakers like New Zealand mountaineer Peter Hillary (son of Everest legend Sir Edmund Hillary) and conservationist John Heminway.
