Turkish Airlines, the flag carrier of Türkiye, has once again been recognised for its exceptional service and commitment to excellence. For the fourth consecutive year, it received the prestigious ‘World Class’ award from the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX). This accolade places Turkish Airlines among the elite group of just 10 airlines worldwide to receive this honour.
Celebrating Excellence at the APEX/IFSA Global Expo
The awards were presented at a special ceremony held in California during the APEX/IFSA Global Expo. In addition to the ‘World Class’ award, Turkish Airlines also received the ‘Best-In-Class’ distinction in Sustainability, highlighting the airline’s dedication to operational quality and passenger experience.
Comprehensive Recognition
The ‘World Class’ recognition was awarded based on comprehensive inspections by industry professionals, evaluating performance across three key categories: Safety and well-being, Service and Guest Experience, and Sustainability. Turkish Airlines’ commitment to sustainability through circular practices, digitalisation, and waste management was particularly noted.
Additional Honors
Turkish Airlines also received the ‘FTE Pioneer Award’ from Future Travel Experience (FTE), which is part of the APEX group. This award recognises airlines that push the boundaries of innovation and enhance customer experience. The FTE Global Airline Pioneer Awards ceremony in Los Angeles honoured six winners worldwide for their contributions to advancing the air transport industry.
