Thai Airways is marking its 65th anniversary in grand style by unveiling a series of exciting updates to its fleet, inflight products, and services—a move that truly captures the essence of blending modern aviation with timeless Thai hospitality. Dubbed ‘The New Worlds of Tomorrow’, the impressive revamp was announced on 29 April 2025 during a launch event in Bangkok, signalling a new era for the airline as it positions itself for sustainable growth and world-class service into the future.
At the launch, the airline proudly introduced its new tagline, ‘Grace to Growth’, a fitting sentiment as Thai Airways concludes a meticulous five-year business rehabilitation plan. This fresh direction comes at a pivotal moment, with the airline set to resume trading its shares on the Stock Exchange of Thailand in July 2025. Prominent leaders were in attendance, including Tourism Authority of Thailand Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool and Thai Airways CEO Chai Eamsiri. During the 68th Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) Assembly of Presidents in Brunei, AeroTime had the opportunity to sit down with the airline’s leadership, further emphasising their commitment to a revitalised vision.
A New Generation of Aircraft and Inflight Comfort
As part of its fleet modernisation plan, Thai Airways is set to welcome the new Airbus A321neo by the end of 2025. This state-of-the-art aircraft is not only a symbol of the airline’s focus on regional expansion but also a promise of next-generation comfort. Guests on board will enjoy enhanced inflight entertainment and complimentary Wi-Fi for Royal Orchid Plus members, ensuring a connected and engaging flying experience.
Elevated Dining and Exclusive Amenities
The updates extend beyond the skies. In an exciting move to celebrate local flavours and talent, Thai Airways is revamping its inflight meals, placing a renewed focus on local ingredients to deliver an authentic taste of Thailand at 30,000 feet. Adding a touch of elegance, the airline has also unveiled three exclusive amenity kit designs in collaboration with renowned Thai fashion brand SIRIVANNAVARI. Brimming with motifs inspired by Thai heritage and nature, these thoughtfully curated kits—available in Royal Silk Class on flights to Paris Charles de Gaulle, Milan Malpensa, Tokyo Haneda, and Shanghai Pudong—include luxurious essentials such as hand cream, lip balm, sleeping masks, and a bamboo toothbrush.
