Tauck is expanding its support for solo travellers in 2026, rolling out savings that dramatically reduce – and often completely remove – single supplements on European river cruises and guided land journeys worldwide. The offer includes waived single supplements on all Category 1 riverboat cabins across more than 250 departures, plus discounts of up to 600 USD on 105 land tour departures spanning six continents.
Solo savings on Tauck’s 2026 European river cruises

On Europe’s rivers, Tauck will again waive the single supplement entirely on all Category 1 riverboat cabins for every 2026 departure, covering more than 250 river cruise sailings on the Danube, Rhine, Seine, Douro and beyond. This allows solo guests to book an entry‑level cabin at the same per‑person price as someone sharing, removing one of the biggest financial barriers to river cruising alone.
The offer also applies to a new France programme, Bordeaux, Paris & The Seine, sailing aboard the newly launched ms Serene, which pairs Bordeaux and Paris with a Seine cruise. In addition, Tauck will reduce single supplements by 1,000 USD on select 2026 departures in higher cabin categories (typically Categories 4 and 5), giving solo travellers access to larger, more premium staterooms at a significantly better rate.
Reduced supplements on 2026 land journeys worldwide

Solo travellers booking Tauck’s land itineraries in 2026 will see single supplements cut by up to 600 USD on 105 departures across 37 tours in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East.
Highlights include:
- North America: up to 300 USD off on 34 departures of 12 itineraries, including national parks, cultural cities and the new “A Week in… Nova Scotia” tour in Canada’s Atlantic provinces.
- Europe: up to 400 USD off on 52 departures across 18 itineraries in Italy, France, Spain, Great Britain, Scandinavia and Central Europe.
- Asia, Africa and Latin America: up to 600 USD off single supplements on seven departures of seven “bucket‑list” journeys, Tauck’s highest solo savings on land, aimed at making long‑haul dream trips more accessible for independent travellers.
Why Tauck leans into solo travel
Tauck emphasises that for many solo guests, the main value lies in ease, confidence and built‑in community, not just pricing. CEO Jennifer Tombaugh notes that Tauck handles hotels, meals, sightseeing and transportation end‑to‑end, so solo travellers can focus on the experience rather than logistics, while Tauck Directors and like‑minded guests help create a welcoming group atmosphere.
The 2026 solo offers extend Tauck’s long‑running commitment to independent travellers and sit alongside the company’s broader portfolio of over 170 guided land tours, safaris, river cruises, small‑ship ocean cruises and family journeys in 65+ countries. Tauck continues to be recognised by Virtuoso, Travel + Leisure and Condé Nast Traveler for both its escorted touring and river cruising, adding extra reassurance for guests planning a first solo trip.
How solo travellers can book Tauck’s 2026 offers
