SeaDream Yacht Club is charting an ambitious new course, adding more than 60 new and rarely visited ports between 2026 and 2028 and giving guests access to intimate harbours that big cruise ships simply can’t reach.
SeaDream’s off-the-beaten-path yachting vision
The family‑owned luxury line is leaning into its private‑yacht ethos with a multi‑year collection of voyages focused on authenticity, flexibility and small places. The 2026 season is already underway with maiden calls, while 27 new ports will debut in 2027 and at least 28 more in 2028, with additional destinations to be announced.
From secluded Mediterranean coves and remote North Atlantic islands to low‑key Caribbean marinas, SeaDream is deliberately curating ports that are difficult to access independently and off the radar of larger luxury brands. As Executive Chairman Andreas Brynestad notes, the goal is to satisfy guests’ craving for “authenticity and freedom” by lingering longer in small harbours and making the yachts feel like a true home at sea.
2026: New Mediterranean gems and Caribbean coves
In 2026, twin mega‑yachts SeaDream I and SeaDream II are already sailing to new ports that bring guests closer to local culture and nature. Highlights include:
- Primosten, Croatia – A medieval peninsula town with cobblestone lanes, pebble beaches and vineyard‑covered hills, featured on a June 18, 2026 itinerary.
- Syvota, Greece – A cluster of crystalline coves and islets on the Epirus coast, ideal for swimming, watersports and relaxed beach time.
- Galaxidi, Greece – A neoclassical harbor town near Delphi, appearing on several 2026 voyages and pairing waterfront strolls with ancient history.
- Tinos, Greece – Known for its marble craftsmen, whitewashed hilltop villages and authentic Cycladic atmosphere.
- Setúbal, Portugal – A historic city south of Lisbon with a 16th‑century monastery, lively market and easy access to Arrábida’s coastal nature; first visited October 23, 2026.
- Fajardo Bay, Puerto Rico – A return after a decade to this bioluminescent bay, offering night‑time kayaking among glowing waters plus access to exclusive golf courses.
These fresh stops sit alongside SeaDream favourites such as Amalfi, Hvar and St. Barths, with frequent late‑night and overnight stays so guests can linger in port after dark.
2027: 27 new ports across Northern Europe and the Med

In 2027, SeaDream triples its voyage count versus 2026 and introduces 27 new ports of call across Northern Europe, the British Isles and the Mediterranean. The new roster stretches from Portuguese fishing towns to Scottish outposts and French Riviera turnarounds. Standout additions include:
- Arendal & Brønnøysund, Norway – Charming coastal communities offering fjord access, wooden waterfronts and classic Norwegian coastal life.
- Caen‑Ouistreham, France – Gateway to the D‑Day landing beaches and the historic city of Caen in Normandy.
- Capraia, Italy – A wild Tuscan island with hiking paths, cliffs and a protected marine reserve, perfect for SeaDream’s watersports marina days.
- Castellon & Ceuta, Spain – Castellon highlights Spain’s lesser‑known Costa del Azahar, while North African Ceuta blends Spanish and Moroccan influences within one compact enclave.
- Fair Isle & Stromness, Scotland – Remote Scottish isles where guests can spot seabirds, walk windswept headlands and explore Neolithic sites.
- Kinsale & Youghal, Ireland – Historic harbors famed for their food scenes, colorful streets and medieval architecture.
- Lagos, Portugal – An Algarve favourite, with dramatic golden cliffs, sea caves and relaxed beach culture.
- Vágur, Faroe Islands – A deep‑water port on Suðuroy, pairing hiking and authentic Faroese village life with sweeping North Atlantic views.
Other newcomers include Dartmouth and Poole in England; Dundee, Montrose and Oban in Scotland; Skudeneshavn in Norway; Porto Montenegro; and Saint‑Raphaël on the Côte d’Azur. New turnaround ports such as Leith (Edinburgh) and Portsmouth open up itineraries like Oslo–Edinburgh, Glasgow–Dublin and Valletta–Rome, including a special 2027 voyage aligned with a solar eclipse.
2028: 28 more hidden harbors in Europe and the Caribbean

SeaDream keeps the momentum going into 2028 with plans for at least 28 additional ports across the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and the Caribbean. The focus remains on intimate access to storybook coastal towns and marina communities that larger ships pass by. Signature new destinations include:
- Portonovi, Montenegro – A chic marina village on the Bay of Kotor offering waterfront dining, spa experiences and yacht‑friendly glamour.
- Visby & Fjällbacka, Sweden – Visby’s UNESCO‑listed medieval walls and cobbled lanes meet Fjällbacka’s granite‑carved archipelago and classic Swedish west‑coast charm.
- Port St. Charles, Barbados & St. Pierre, Martinique – New southern Caribbean calls combining a luxury marina on Barbados’ west coast with Martinique’s historic northern capital at the foot of Mount Pelée.
- Bol (Brač), Croatia & Carloforte (Isola di San Pietro), Italy – Island towns known for white‑pebble beaches, clear waters and Genoese heritage, appearing on multiple 2028 sailings.
These new calls join extended stays in Portofino, Dubrovnik, the Dalmatian Coast and Norway’s fjords, creating a 2028 portfolio that balances beloved classics with fresh discoveries. Together, they reinforce SeaDream’s promise: exploring Europe and the Caribbean like you would on a friend’s private yacht rather than a conventional cruise ship
