A new itinerary touring New Zealand and the Chatham Islands has been revealed by Ponant.
On 7 January 2023, it will sail from port aboard the small luxury adventure ship Le Lapérouse.
To celebrate the launch of the new itinerary, PONANT is providing guests from Australia and New Zealand with a special limited-time offer that includes up to 30% off the brochure ticket and a 50% discount for the second passenger.
The brand new 10-day voyage will highlight the Chatham Islands’ biodiversity and the rich cultural history of the Mauri people.
Sailing from Lyttelton to Auckland takes you by stunning vistas on the way to the Chatham Islands, where you may relax on deserted beaches and marvel at the ochre cliffs, where you may discover some of the island’s many rare bird species.
Le Lapérouse sets sail for Gisborne, the world’s first city to view each day’s sunrise, before touring the volcanoes, hot springs, and treasures of Tauranga before disembarking in Auckland.
