The top ten ‘Global Airlines’ ranking included Qatar Airways, which came in third place with an 85.11% score. The Saudi Arabian flag carrier Saudia placed ninth with an on-time arrival rate of 81.29%. Colombia’s Avianca came out on top with 86.73 percent of the vote.
On the other hand, Oman Air appeared to be the airline that performed the best in the world, with a record of 92.3% for on-time arrival.
Qatar’s Hamad International Airport came in tenth place among the world’s largest airports, but it was placed ninth among airports throughout the whole world. The Rajiv Gandhi Airport in Hyderabad was the second most important worldwide hub, behind only the Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport in the United States.
Safair, a low-cost airline operating in South Africa, scored an incredible 92.36% for its overall performance, making it another regional success story. Compared to other minor airports worldwide, Cape Town International Airport came in at number five.
Safair came in second place for the whole Middle East and Africa area, behind Oman Air, which reached the top of the regional rating with a score of 92.53%.
