Explora Journeys has revealed its highly anticipated 2027–2028 Journeys Collection, marking a landmark season that expands the luxury lifestyle ocean travel brand’s horizons to Asia for the first time and welcomes the newest member of its fleet, EXPLORA V. This expansive portfolio promises nearly 100 journeys across five continents, inviting guests to explore 59 countries and almost 200 iconic destinations with rich cultural immersion and extended overnight stays.

Asia Takes Centre Stage

The new season is distinguished by Explora Journeys debuting in Asia aboard EXPLORA III, navigating 28 immersive itineraries through Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. Guests will explore 47 destinations, many for the first time, including in-depth overnight stays in cities such as Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Bali. Travellers will experience the region’s captivating contrasts—from autumn’s vibrant maple foliage to the delicate cherry blossoms of spring—alongside iconic cultural events like Shanghai’s Golden Week and Chinese New Year celebrations onboard.

EXPLORA V Launches in the Mediterranean and Beyond

Launching in December 2027, EXPLORA V will begin her journey in the quiet season Mediterranean, showcasing the region’s timeless charm with fewer crowds and softer light. Highlights include maiden calls in Salerno near the Amalfi Coast, overnight stays in Istanbul, and intimate explorations of Malta’s La Valletta and Sicily’s Cagliari. The voyage culminates with a memorable New Year’s Eve celebration in Naples, where guests can enjoy spectacular fireworks from the sea.

Following this, EXPLORA V sets sail for the Red Sea and Arabian Peninsula, joining EXPLORA I in offering a series of culturally rich itineraries featuring Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain. EXPLORA II and EXPLORA IV will traverse the Caribbean, Central America and South America, visiting 51 destinations across 30 countries.
