Emirates dominated the ULTRAs 2023 Awards with two wins. The world’s largest international airline was named “Best Airline in the World” and “Best Airline in the Middle East” by thousands of worldwide passengers for its world-class products, unmatched services, and excellent value.
Emirates Divisional Senior Vice President Service Delivery Thomas Ney accepted the awards at Dubai’s Nikki Beach Club. Other well-known guests and travel industry leaders attended the event.
Emirates COO Adel Al Redha said: “We’re delighted to be recognised again as one of the world’s best providers of luxury travel experiences. Emirates is known for establishing high standards; this year was no exception. We added more than 140 destinations to our global network and retrofitted 10 A380s with new cabin interiors and Premium Economy seats. We continually introduce innovative products and solutions to improve our customer’s experiences. We thank our loyal customers for always choosing to fly better with us and look forward to raising the bar even higher!”
After the pandemic, premium air travel returned, raising competition at the top of the industry, according to Ultratravel Chairman Nick Perry. Emirates’ 2023 World’s Best Airline win is noteworthy, given the quality and range of choices available to affluent flyers. Emirates deserves praise for maintaining the top spot for another year.”
Emirates invests in product and service enhancements to give customers the best air and ground travel experience. Emirates recently launched a new city check-in facility at Dubai International Financial Centre, a new route to Montreal, a meal pre-ordering service, and free onboard Wi-Fi for Emirates Skywards members.

The airline’s brand advertising campaign with Penelope Cruz reinforces that “travel is not just about the end destination; it’s also about how you get there”.
Emirates received the 2024 APEX World Class Airline award for its excellent customer service, safety and well-being, sustainability, and service-guest experience. The airline also received a 2024 IFSA award for ‘Best Onboard Amenity’ for its sustainable Economy Class amenity kit.
Emirates has the world’s biggest wide-body Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft fleet, offering luxurious cabins and acclaimed inflight features like the A380 Shower Spa and Onboard Lounge. The airline recently announced a record half-year performance for 2023-24, carrying more than 26 million passengers across its extensive network.
Customers will also enjoy the airline’s multinational crew of more than 160 nationalities, regionally gourmet cuisine, and award-winning inflight entertainment system, ice, with up to 6,500 channels of the best movies, TV series, podcasts, and more.
