Cunard Line—the legendary name in luxury ocean travel—is making waves again with the triumphant return of Queen Elizabeth to Australia as part of her epic 113-night World Voyage in 2027/28. The news is a thrill for cruise fans and past passengers alike, with Queen Elizabeth coming home to Australasia for the first time in a decade!
A Season of New Adventures
Cunard has unveiled 110 brand new itineraries for the upcoming season, promising adventure, culture, and opulence spanning the globe. Queen Elizabeth’s schedule is stacked with highlights: an overnight stay in Sydney, calls at Airlie Beach and tropical Cairns, and a journey through the diverse Asia-Pacific region—including three ports in Japan. The voyage doesn’t stop there; this grand adventure circles Asia, Australia, the Pacific, Africa, and the Americas, offering Aussie cruisers unmatched opportunities to discover the world in old-school style.
Double the Luxury—Queen Anne Arrives
Not to be outshone, Cunard’s newest ship, Queen Anne, will also set foot Down Under during her own 111-night World Voyage in the season. Like her fleetmate, Queen Anne will overnight in Sydney, with calls to high-profile ports like Los Angeles and Hong Kong. This World Voyage is packed with “firsts” and “returns”—among the highlights, Queen Anne’s program will include a return to Ha Long Bay (Vietnam) for the first time since 2011, and a visit to Laem Chabang (Thailand), marking her first call since 2018.
A Journey Through History, Culture & UNESCO Wonders
Whether you’re drawn by iconic ports or dream destinations, Cunard’s new program is designed to delight. Between October 2027 and May 2028, the brand’s Queens will visit nearly 100 destinations across 50 countries. Sailors can expect more than 50 UNESCO World Heritage sites, and over 20 overnight port calls—perfect for evening explorations, festive dinners ashore, and culturally immersive adventures at every stop.
