Carnival Cruise Line is set to delight travellers with an exciting extension of its cruise schedules for 2026 and 2027. The new itineraries feature sailings from New Orleans and Long Beach, offering a diverse array of vacation options that cater to a variety of preferences and destinations.
New Orleans Adventures with Carnival Valor and Carnival Liberty
Carnival Valor and Carnival Liberty will continue to sail from New Orleans, a port where Carnival has a rich history of year-round service. Recently, Carnival celebrated its 30th anniversary and welcomed its seven millionth guest. These ships will connect travellers to the Caribbean and the Bahamas’ vibrant cultures and stunning landscapes.
- Carnival Valor: Guests can embark on four and five-day Western Caribbean cruises, visiting popular Mexican ports such as Cozumel and Progreso.
- Carnival Liberty: This ship offers a mix of week-long Western and Eastern Caribbean options, including stops at Celebration Key, Belize, Mahogany Bay, Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Key West, Nassau, and Half Moon Cay. Notably, Half Moon Cay will see an expansion in 2026. Additionally, Carnival Liberty will feature unique itineraries such as two six-day Western Caribbean and two eight-day Eastern Caribbean cruises, and a special 14-day round-trip Carnival Journeys cruise departing on November 29, 2026, visiting destinations like Curacao, Aruba, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Panama.
Mexican Riviera Escapes from Long Beach on Carnival Panorama
Carnival Panorama will sail to the enchanting Mexican Riviera from its homeport in Long Beach. These six- to eight-day itineraries will take guests to sun-soaked destinations, including Cabo San Lucas, Ensenada, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán, and La Paz. The ship has recently undergone a dry dock, introducing several enhancements and new features, such as new retail shops and a non-smoking casino, ensuring a refreshed and enjoyable experience for all passengers.
Fred Stein, vice president of itinerary planning for Carnival Cruise Line, emphasised the importance of variety in their offerings: “The sailings we’re opening today showcase the diverse array of destinations and itineraries available to our guests. We believe variety is essential for guests to curate unforgettable cruises as they plan future vacations. New Orleans and Long Beach are vital to our homeport strategy and bring great new options to our guests who sail from each port as we continue to broaden our overall cruise schedule for 2026-27.”
This expansion of Carnival Cruise Line’s offerings promises to provide travellers with more choices and unforgettable experiences, whether exploring the Caribbean from New Orleans or the Mexican Riviera from Long Beach.
