A new symbol of excellence now shines along Vietnam’s southern coast. Azerai Ke Ga Bay, the elegant beachfront escape founded by legendary hotelier Adrian Zecha, has been awarded a coveted MICHELIN Key in the first-ever MICHELIN Guide hotel selection for Vietnam, unveiled on October 8.
This recognition places Azerai Ke Ga Bay among an exclusive circle of just 13 properties in the country to earn the honour. In the same way that MICHELIN Stars celebrate outstanding dining, MICHELIN Keys spotlight the world’s most exceptional hotels—those that deliver beyond comfort and style to create meaningful, memorable experiences for guests.
The MICHELIN inspectors lauded Azerai Ke Ga Bay for accommodations that are “essentially faultless in their comforts.” They described its architecture as “modern and minimalist, though certainly locally flavoured,” and commended its “tasteful and restrained” design that embraces the natural beauty of the coastal landscape.
Julian Moore, General Manager of Azerai Ke Ga Bay, shared his pride in the achievement:
“We are deeply honoured to receive the MICHELIN Key distinction. It is a testament to Azerai’s commitment to excellence. Our team takes immense pride in providing warm and attentive service, ensuring every guest feels truly cared for while staying at our serene beachfront oasis.”
A Vision of Refined Tranquillity
Part of Zecha’s renowned Azerai collection—also featuring Azerai La Residence, Hue—the Ke Ga Bay property continues his legacy of creating refined retreats grounded in authenticity and simplicity. Zecha, known for founding the iconic Aman Resorts in 1988, has built Azerai around the ethos of understated elegance and soulful hospitality.

Nestled on five hectares of lush gardens, Azerai Ke Ga Bay sits just over two hours from Ho Chi Minh City via the new coastal highway. The setting captures Vietnam’s natural poetry, bordered by Hon Ba Island and its historic lighthouse to the east, and gently rolling sand dunes to the west.
Accolades and Offerings
The resort’s MICHELIN honour follows a banner year of international recognition. Earlier in 2025, Azerai Ke Ga Bay was voted the world’s second “Most Instagrammable Hotel” and the top winner for Asia, the Indian Ocean, and South Pacific by Luxury Travel Advisor. The Times of London also named it among Southeast Asia’s best boutique hotels.
Guests can now immerse in a deeper sense of place with new experiences such as complimentary seaside yoga sessions and curated golf packages at the nearby PGA NovaWorld Phan Thiet Golf Course, designed by legend Greg Norman.
For travellers seeking refined simplicity in harmony with nature, Azerai Ke Ga Bay’s MICHELIN Key distinction reaffirms its place among Vietnam’s finest destinations.
