Azamara Cruises has officially announced its winter sailings for 2025 and 2026, featuring eight maiden ports and exclusive destinations tailored for its smaller vessels. The luxury cruise line is set to offer a unique Grand Voyage that circumnavigates South America and innovative back-to-back Caribbean sailings with no sea days.
Michael Pawlus, the Head of Itinerary Planning at Azamara Cruises, expressed his excitement about the new offerings: “We’re thrilled to be bringing our guests to eight new ports of call in 2025 and 2026. From Scarborough, the bustling capital of the small island of Tobago, to the stunning French island of Réunion’s Pointe des Galets, our itineraries are designed for longer, more immersive experiences.”
The highlight of the new itineraries is the 79-night Grand Voyage, starting and ending in Miami, which promises an in-depth exploration of South America’s diverse landscapes and cultures. Azamara’s Caribbean itineraries are also structured to maximize time in port, allowing guests to enjoy up to 14 days of uninterrupted island culture with zero days at sea.
Maiden Ports of Call
- Santa Marta, Colombia: This city is where the Sierra Nevada Mountains meet the Caribbean Sea. It offers a mix of colonial architecture, pristine beaches, and rich indigenous cultures.
- Maizuru, Japan: This historical naval base with a rich past is set against the scenic coast of Kyoto Prefecture, offering a taste of traditional Japanese culture and cuisine.
- St. Pierre, Martinique: Once devastated by a volcanic eruption, this town is known for its captivating ruins, vibrant Creole culture, and picturesque coastal views.
- Celukan Bawang, Bali, Indonesia: A tranquil port town known for its lush landscapes, serene beaches, and the opportunity to immerse in traditional Balinese culture.
Travellers seeking to experience these unique destinations can now book their journey on one of Azamara’s new itineraries for the 2025-2026 season. For more information and reservations, visit Azamara’s New Sailings.
