Royal Caribbean has confirmed that Quantum of the Seas will once again homeport in Singapore from October 2027 to March 2028, opening up a fresh season of 3- to 10-night Asia cruises for families, friends and multigenerational groups. Sailing roundtrip from one of Asia’s best-connected hubs, guests can explore the beaches, cities and cultures of Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Japan, all with the convenience of starting and ending their holiday in Singapore.
New 2027–28 Singapore Getaways
Across the 2027–28 season, holidaymakers can choose from a mix of short escapes and longer adventures designed to fit school holidays, long weekends or big once-a-year trips.
- 3- and 4-night escapes: Weekend-style getaways to Southeast Asia, including Penang’s historic George Town – famous for its street food – and the beaches of Phuket.
- 4- and 5-night cruises: Extra time to enjoy the sun-soaked shores of Phuket, with more sea days to explore the ship.
- Up to 10-night itineraries: Longer journeys reaching Bangkok, plus iconic cities such as Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong, and bucket-list ports in Japan including Tokyo, Nagoya and Kobe.
These itineraries are built with both local cruisers and fly-cruise guests in mind, leveraging Singapore’s strong air links across Asia-Pacific and beyond.

Onboard Highlights: Quantum-Class Thrills for All Ages
Quantum of the Seas is packed with headline experiences that appeal to kids, teens and adults alike. Thrill-seekers can:
- Skydive at sea on RipCord by iFly, a wind tunnel that simulates a free-fall experience.
- Surf the FlowRider wave simulator or tackle the outdoor rock-climbing wall.
- Take in 360-degree ocean and skyline views from North Star, the glass observation capsule that rises over 90 metres above sea level.
- Head to SeaPlex, the largest indoor activity complex at sea, for bumper cars, basketball and roller-skating.
- Let younger cruisers cool off in the H2O Zone, a water play area created just for kids.
In the evenings, guests can enjoy Broadway-style shows at the Royal Theater, multimedia spectaculars in Two70, and a choice of live music venues and bars to match every mood.
Dining: From Chef’s Table to Izumi and Wonderland
Between ports, Quantum of the Seas serves up a global dining line-up that makes the ship a destination in itself. Options include:
- Chef’s Table – an exclusive, hosted five-course wine-paired experience.
- Izumi – fresh sushi and Japanese favourites.
- Jamie’s Italian – Tuscan-inspired, family-style dishes created in partnership with Jamie Oliver.
- Chops Grille – Royal Caribbean’s classic American steakhouse.
- Wonderland – whimsical, imaginative cuisine with a theatrical twist.
From casual bites to special-occasion dinners, the variety makes it easy for families and groups to find something everyone will enjoy.
“Making Memories Together” in Asia
As Royal Caribbean’s Asia-Pacific vice president and managing director Chad Grospe notes, Quantum of the Seas has become a “familiar and much-loved ship” for guests across the region, and the 2027–28 program builds on strong demand for both short and longer Asia cruises. Whether it’s a 3-night taster, a school-holiday family adventure or a 10-night journey combining Japan and Southeast Asia, the focus is firmly on shared experiences and memory-making.
